The Shimano CN-HG54 is a directional 10-speed HG-X chain developed specifically for mountain bikes. The HG-X design means that each side of the chain is optimized for a specific task—the right for front shifting and the left for rear shifting—ensuring faster and more precise gear transitions.
The chain runs smoothly, saves weight, and improves the performance of the entire drivetrain. It is designed for use with XTR, Deore XT, and SLX groupsets. A connecting pin is included for installation.
