Shimano CN-LG500 Linkglide – 10/11-speed chain with Quick-Link connecting link
The Shimano CN-LG500 is a chain developed for LINKGLIDE systems, which are designed primarily for high-torque e-bikes and everyday cyclists for whom drivetrain durability is paramount. The chain ensures smooth, decisive shifting that remains reliable over an extended period of use.
LINKGLIDE technology, featuring an optimized shift gate design, enables smoother gear transitions and eliminates the jolts cyclists otherwise feel in their legs. The difference is most noticeable when shifting to harder gears, where forces are greater. Combined with the thicker tooth bases on the LINKGLIDE cassette, the drivetrain is significantly more wear-resistant, extending the service life before chain skipping occurs.
The chain is compatible with 10- and 11-speed LINKGLIDE systems and 11-speed HYPERGLIDE systems. An SM-CN900-11 Quick-Link connecting link is included, allowing for tool-free installation and removal of the chain.
