Presentation of the new ECOMO City EER5 electric bike - model 2025. The Apes bike is designed for comfortable urban driving and exploring even more vibrant terrain. The Econo Apes City EER5 is the perfect choice for cyclists looking for reliability, versatility and comfort.
Equipped with a powerful Bafang H400B rear motor delivering 40 Nm of torque, this bike makes it easy to tackle both flat terrain and climbs. The motor operates with a torque sensor, meaning the ride responds to your pedal pressure – similar to bikes with mid-drive motors. This feature ensures a natural and efficient ride across all terrains.
The bike is powered by a reliable ECONO battery that we develop and assemble at our plant. There are three capacities: 520Wh, 700Wh and 800Wh. All batteries are interchangeable between models for 2025, which gives even more flexibility for your needs. You follow the driving data on a compact, color side screen where you can choose from five levels of help: ECO, Tour, Sport, and Boost.
For a comfortable ride, the SR Suntour front suspension with 75mm travel takes care of bumps, while Tektro HD-M280 hydraulic brakes provide reliable and safe stopping power. The Shimano Altus 9-speed drivetrain ensures smooth shifting, further contributing to a confident and fluid ride.
The ECONO Apes City EER5 is designed with comfort: wide seat, ergonomic handles, adjustable handlebar carrier and curved handlebar allow for upright posture and relaxed position while driving.

Rear motor

A detachable integrated battery
ECONO ELK 36V 520, 700 or 800Wh battery. Enabled easy removal and installation of the battery in the frame.
ECONO 2A/4A charger
When purchasing the 520Wh battery, a standard 2A charger is included. When purchasing the 700Wh or 800Wh battery, a faster 4A 4A charger is included.
Bafang C080
You follow the driving data on a compact, color side screen. Aid available: OFF, ECO, TOUR, Sport, Sport+ and Boost.
